We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material QA/QC Engineer with site supervision capabilities to join our team in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in our construction projects while overseeing on-site activities.

  • Develop and implement quality control plans for construction materials and processes
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications
  • Perform material testing and analysis to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements
  • Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities on construction sites
  • Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC reports and documentation
  • Train and mentor junior QA/QC personnel on proper testing procedures and quality control practices
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on quality control activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in material engineering and QA/QC roles, with a focus on construction projects
  • Previous experience in site supervision or construction management
  • In-depth knowledge of material testing and quality control procedures
  • Proficiency in QA/QC software and documentation systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Professional certifications in QA/QC or materials testing preferred
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of site safety protocols and practices
  • Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions and travel as required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
