The Digital Sector is excited to announce our opening for a Material Project Manager on Military Services Solutions Materials team supporting the Naval Enterprise Networks Division. This person is the Global Supply Chain material purchases for One of Leidos’s largest Navy programs within the Leidos Digital sector. This senior person is responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing supply chain resources enabling cyber security, networks, field services for over 2,500 locations. Must have the ability to work with the company leaders in procuring material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish. This individual will be interfacing with Contracting Officers, Suppliers, Logistics, Receiving, Materials Asset Management, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure program execution milestones are met. Must be a communicator that can influence project and team leaders regarding solution design, process improvement and compliant procurement actions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works with Program Management team to ensure a streamlined procurement process of materials against Customer requirements.
- Candidate must have the ability to work with leaders in generating material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish.
- Maintains reports and monitor material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences.
- Coordinates forecasts, workload, expediting, and acquisition priority with commodity/category team leadership.
- Ensures Leidos’ Global Supply Chain policy and procedures are met throughout the materials management and sourcing process that will be to the greatest benefit of the company.
- Ensures Small Business Goals are reported accurately.
- Manages blanket purchase agreements to achieve maximum savings and cost avoidance.
- Analyzes material requirements for leveraging opportunities, supplier recommendations, acquisition planning
- Engages supply chain (supplier to manufacturing) to determine optimal acquisition strategy.
- Manages production, renewals and delivery schedules.
- Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
- Review/understand technical part specs and drawings and communicate with Asset Management team and Strategic Sourcing as needed to meet compliance.
- Manages a fleet of vehicles overseas leasing agreements.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a BA degree or equivalent experience and requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Understanding of concepts, principles, industry practices and standards within own discipline
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and skills (SharePoint and Power Apps)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Great organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Power BI and other dashboard experience
- Intermediate Excel experience (Pivot Tables, Charts, v-Lookups, Bar Charts)
Preferred Qualifications
- Buying experience
- Support to the Military background
- Supply Chain Management experience
- MRP knowledge or experience with CostPoint
- Strong knowledge and experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for price and source justification requirements at appropriate levels.
- Sub Contract experience

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
