As a key contributor to our Operations team, you will manage the technical details of our product formulas to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing. You will become the expert for key technologies, driving quality from the lab to the production line. This role is vital for product improvements, new initiatives, and maintaining our high standards.

Your team

This role reports to the Materials Process Development Manager. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working alongside experienced engineers and supply chain professionals. The team is focused on continuous improvement and innovation in materials and supply management to keep up with fluctuating consumer demands.

How success looks like

  • Safety & Quality: Maintain a perfect safety record with zero quality incidents related to your work.
  • Project Delivery: Achieve 100% readiness for all planned changes to formulas, raw materials, or suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure your work causes no unexpected negative impacts on production, effectively troubleshoot issues, and meet all success criteria for the systems and processes you own.
  • Employee Growth: Complete all required functional skill training within your first year to become a fully effective member of the team

Responsibilities of the role

  • Support the technical qualification for new initiatives, raw material changes, and cost-saving projects.
  • Translate technical formula cards and making instructions into user-friendly recipes for our production systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and solving technical problems that arise during production or from new projects.
  • Develop clear technical plans and write detailed reports on your findings and progress.
  • Use data to propose solutions to technical challenges and help the team make informed decisions.
  • Represent the MPD team in cross-functional meetings to share updates and collaborate on projects.
  • Help train and provide guidance to new technicians in the group

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Cosmetics Sciences, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
