Job Description

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve

  • Plan and manage production and non-production materials based on MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.

  • Review, release, and adjust supply plans according to demand changes and inventory levels.

  • Monitor material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align material supply with production requirements.

  • Maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and inventory turnover objectives.

  • Identify and mitigate material shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving inventory.

  • Follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.

  • Coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow.

  • Support initiatives to reduce logistics costs and premium freight.

  • Drive continuous improvement in supply planning and inventory control processes.

  • Participate in material readiness reviews and engineering change implementation activities.

If you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Previous experience as a Material Planner, Logistics Engineer, or similar supply chain role.

  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems, inventory management, and supply planning processes.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

  • Leadership skills and experience managing or coordinating teams.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Fluent in English and French
