Job Description

Material Planning Advanced Specialist

Support & execute the implementation of the Logistics Strategic Plan across all cross-docks and manufacturing locations in North America. Standardize data and material flow processes to drive efficiency and deliver value through optimization efforts. Focus will be on standardizing and communize process flow for all interrelated locations to effect improvements in supply continuity, mitigate supply risk and reduce network miles through optimization and increase asset utilization.

What you’ll do:

Mapping process-flow, understanding how each system interacts with processes, improve system efficiency and usage, cleansing, harmonization and enrichment of master data.

Bridging Business and IT (understand and transform business requirements into IT projects), creation of Business Functional Requirements whenever needed, UAT testing, brainstorm and implement system enhancements across all different systems (ERP, MES, TMS, WMS, YMS).

Have a bird’s eye view to understand the big picture, have a strategic approach, help translate business needs into functional specifications that IT can develop and execute to show how technology can help drive & improve efficiency and bring value, able to be hands on when needed to support and guide super-users and users on, testing, brainstorming, developing and implementing.

Project execution and follow up and any other special projects that may come up. Be current at market trends, new systems, applications, AI improvements that could benefit Autoliv’s digitalization efforts.

What is required:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• 3-5 Years Of Experience

• Advanced English skills

Solid understand of supply chain management (data and material flow) as well as applications utilized to drive efficiencies (TMS, WMS, MRP, Scanning, etc.) with focus in Automotive/Manufacturing environment.
