About the role.

We're looking for a Materials Planner & Inventory Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, while optimising inventory, supplier performance and working capital outcomes.

You will ensure materials are available to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements while maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement across planning processes and systems.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Dandenong South site.

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

• Manage end-to-end materials planning and replenishment activities across the ANZ network, ensuring raw materials, packaging and traded goods are available to support production and customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Execute SAP MRP planning processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, stock transfers, planning exceptions and master data governance to ensure planning accuracy and supply continuity.
• Monitor inventory performance across raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished goods, driving inventory accuracy, cycle counting, stocktake activities, inventory optimisation and the reduction of slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage supply risks, improve supplier DIFOT performance and resolve delivery, quality and continuity issues.
• Analyse and report on key supply chain metrics including inventory, working capital, stock cover, supplier performance and material availability, using insights to drive operational improvements and informed decision-making.
• Coordinate material requirements for new product launches, trials, promotions, product transitions and delistings, ensuring effective run-in/run-out planning and minimising waste and obsolescence.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness, inventory governance, process standardisation, cost efficiency and supply chain performance across the ANZ network.

About You.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in Materials Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management or Procurement Coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience using SAP MRP and inventory management processes.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, replenishment and inventory planning practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong process discipline.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
• Exposure to supplier performance management and inventory optimisation initiatives.
• Power BI reporting experience.
• APICS, CPIM or equivalent supply chain qualifications highly regarded
