Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Madhepura we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your material planning and supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring seamless material planning and supply chain processes, directly impacting production efficiency and supplier delivery performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Manufacturing and Testing, Industrial Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics, as well as collaborate with external vendors and business partners. You’ll also proactively resolve supply issues, update material planning documents, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in supplier delivery performance.

You’ll specifically take care of creating and updating Material Planning documents, such as Call-offs and Schedule Agreements, but also ensure the accuracy of material planning master data and resolve goods receipt issues.

We’ll look to you for:

• Managing purchase requisitions until Material Planning document creation for internal suppliers
• Following up with Procurement on purchase requisition maturity for external suppliers
• Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data in compliance with stock and logistic constraints
• Communicating delivery plans and purchase orders to suppliers and following up on their confirmations
• Analyzing supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluating risks/impacts on production/projects
• Identifying priorities, setting up recovery actions, and organizing regular reviews with suppliers to monitor delivery performance
• Resolving supply chain issues, including managing MRP exception messages and goods receipt issues
• Driving supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full) improvement initiatives

• B. Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in scheduling and inventory management within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SAP (PP/MM) modules
• Knowledge of industrial planning, logistics, inventory management, material planning, and supplier relationship management
• Familiarity with tools such as ASCOT, ARIBA, CELONIS, and QlikSense
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Cross-functional team management and collaboration skills
• Agility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
