Job Description

What we are looking for:

Nova seeks a Material Planner to support our Operations organization and ensure smooth and reliable material availability to meet production and delivery targets.

In this role, you will become an integral part of the Planning team, enabling efficient production flow and high service levels by translating demand, production plans, and priorities into actionable material plans.

As a Material Planner, you will play a key role in execution and short-to-mid-term planning, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between supply, inventory, and operational needs. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Iמ this role, you will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouses, and Engineering teams and will have a direct impact on delivery performance, inventory optimization, and process improvement.

Role Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

• Take ownership of material availability, weekly commitments, On time Delivery, and proactive resolution of shortages and delivery risks.
• Maintain healthy and accurate inventory levels and support excess/obsolete inventory reduction.
• Translate demand and production plans into execution-level material plans, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse.
• Monitor supply status, planning and delivery reports, lead weekly planning meetings, and ensure timely closure of action items and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data quality, reporting, systems, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in material and logistics planning in a multidisciplinary environment
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics - Must
• Proven experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning roles - Must
• Experience working with cross-functional interfaces (Production, Purchasing, Warehouses)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Must
• Experience working with ERP systems
• High proficiency in Excel - Must
• Experience working with Oracle Cloude ERP systems - Advantage
• Familiarity with inventory management and optimization methodologies - Advantage
• Experience with supply chain KPIs (OTD, shortages, inventory turns, etc.) - Advantage
