Job Description

Material Planner

Stefanowo

Material Planner is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of packaging materials and raw materials necessary for production. This role ensures that all materials are available in the right quantities and at the right time to support efficient manufacturing operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supply Management: Sourcing and ordering packaging materials and raw materials from approved suppliers.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain adequate inventory, conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate order levels to prevent stock shortages or excesses.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze usage and forecast future material needs to support production planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve any issues related to delivery.
  • Participation in regular project meetings related to new business projects.
  • Cooperation with other departments, including:

Production Planning, to align material availability with the production plan.

Procurement, in case of supplier negotiations or supplier-related issues.

Warehouse / Logistics, regarding material receipts and delivery issues.

Quality, when materials do not pass quality inspection.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field (acceptable high school education supported by a minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience).
  • Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain coordination.
  • Previous experience in material planning or supply chain management within FMCG environment wil be an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP (or other ERP system) will be an adventage.
  • Strong analytical skills and minimum intermediate level in data analysis tools and software (Microsoft Excel; Power BI will be an asset).
  • Proficiency in Polish and English at a communicative level (B2).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
