The opportunity:
You will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Support internal customer service inquiries. Sets inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. This role is based in Thailand and will report to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager.
How you will make an impact:
You will involve in segments the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy, define inventory policies according to this segmentation.
You will calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.
You will collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility.
You will work with Operations Buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensures that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders.
You will manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis, support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting, conduct financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory and conduct root case analysis when necessary.
You will analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory, take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and Procurement & Logistics.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering field.
Experience in BOM loader, Material/Inventory Planner & Control or Supply Chain & Logistics will be advantage.
More than 3 years in Inventory and Material Planner & Control, Buyer or Purchasing, Supply planning & Sourcing Engineer, Transport & logistics, will be advantage.
Strong Planning and Systematic thinking, Good in communication and Negotiation, and work well under time pressure.
Computer skill in any ERP or SAP. advance-Excel will be advantage.
Good command of Thai, English communication.
