Job Description


As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for quoting, estimating, planning, and scheduling repair activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines. This role involves close coordination with internal teams across engineering, purchasing, sales, and operations to ensure orders are executed efficiently and customer expectations are met. You will play a key role in managing end-to-end order processes, from quotation to delivery, while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and quality throughout all activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit Cost estimates, As Found Reports, As Build Reports in a timely manner to Sales team and/or customer to conclude job/order details.

  • Provide detailed repair quotations for customer equipment in a timely manner.

  • Labor estimates and quotations related to aftermarket requests Determine delivery time after inventory check

  • Check & process customer orders, including Identity Number, price, delivery time, shipping and billing address and customer specifications

  • Review and implement end-to-end process to complete order execution in ERP system.

  • Knowledge in production planning and detailed scheduling, demand management, purchasing, and cost accounting techniques.

  • Plan and schedule assigned product lines based on production capacity & material availability.

  • Attend to customer’s queries. Communicate with internal and external customers to provide updates on order status and expedite requests.

  • Request quotes and initiate purchase orders

  • Support with warehouse activities as needed (incoming goods, inspection, packaging, shipping).

  • Any other duties as directed/ assigned by manager/ department


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder coordination.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).


Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, and rotating equipment.

  • Experience working within an industrial or engineering environment.

  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Ability to manage complex contexts, including material availability and capacity planning.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments
