We are looking for Material Planner to join the Valtra Manufacturing team in Suolahti. The position is temporary starting as soon as possible until the end of September As a material planner you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the material supply for production. The objective is to eliminate production material shortages and keep the inventory value on defined level. To succeed in material planning it is extremely important to take preventive actions and stay aligned with the suppliers on daily basis.

Your Impact

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shipment rescheduling, transport, material master data, new part implementation, express freight booking, and shortage reporting
  • Solve daily logistical challenges in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinate critical parts for production
  • Actively contribute to developing supplier relationships

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • polytechnic degree or similar type of previous work experience
  • experience in the Logistics & Supply chain environment and principles
  • good pressure handling is a must as well as excellent time management skill
  • SAP, Office and advanced Excel skills are required
  • Oral and written English language skills are mandatory (Finnish, German, French and/or Italian language skills are seen as an advantage)
