The Material Planner I is responsible to assist in handling and maintaining the flow of material and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines; record movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies and help Supervisor verify the accuracy of work performed in the area. Also, will assist the Master Scheduler when necessary; provide daily shipment requirements to materials; and assist in setting and maintaining the weekly production schedule as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Help track customer orders and work in progress/inventory levels.
· Prepare and maintain basic production schedules.
· Update material and schedule information in the system.
· Communicate hourly/daily with manufacturing to share schedule updates and priorities.
· Work with engineering on engineering manufacturing orders or document updates.
· Use the ERP system for basic reporting and data entry.
· Make routine decisions and ask for guidance when needed.
· Other duties as assigned.

· 1+ years related experience.
· MRP System experience
