Position

Perform material handling and inventory control duties related to movement, protection, storage, control, issuance, and delivery of a variety of materials and supplies. Manufacture and test assemblies to support the production schedule by completing work orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the identification, storage, and control of inventory at the Beloit campus.
  • Pick materials accurately to support manufacturing work orders, NorthStar production, and future development projects. This includes but is not limited to ISO environments, radiation areas, and temperature-controlled areas. Enter pick transactions into the ERP system manually or using bardcode scanners.
  • Perform simple assembly operations to meet the production schedule using aseptci techniques. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) controlled documentation and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Perform visual inspections to assure all parts are completed within standards.
  • Pick and enter other miscellaneous inventory transactions into the ERP system to support engineering and production activities as needed.
  • Perform cycle counts for monthly and annual audits.
  • Participate in engineering and pilot runs and provide feedback for efficiency and best practices.
  • Early Development

    After 3 months you will:

  • Properly store and identify materials.
  • Enter ERP transactions.
  • Pick materials for production work orders.
  • After 6 months you will:

  • Verify picked materials for work orders.
  • Perform simple assembly builds.
  • Be proficient in ERP transactions.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

    High school diploama or general education degree (GED).

    Preferred Education/Experience

    Experience in warehousing, inventory control, cycle counting, work order kitting, or general assembly.

    Working Conditions

    Physical demands may include, but not be limited to, specific vision abilities including near vision/acuity and visual color discrimination.

    This role may involve working in a controlled cleanroom environment, general office setting, or specific manufacturing areas. Conditions may include:

    • Exposure to varying temperatures, both indoors (heated/air-conditioned spaces) and outdoors
    • Noise levels range from quiet to loud, depending on the work area
    • Specific vision abilities, including near vision, visual acuity, and color discrimination

    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and may include:

    • Respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and full protective clothing
    • Compliance with cleanroom gowning protocols (e.g., removal of all jewelry, including piercings)
    • Prohibition of cosmetics, fragrances (perfume, aftershave), and nail products, including polish, artificial nails, or extensions

    As a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site, radiation may be present in the laboratory and production areas. Employees in this role may be required to:

    • Follow strict radiation safety procedures
    • Participate in dosimetry monitoring and bioassay testing as part of the company protocol
    • Inform leadership of any health conditions that may affect product integrity, by cleanroom standards
