Location REMOTE

Salary Range: $80,000–$105,000 (depending on experience) plus medical benefits, paid vacation, sick time, and bonus opportunities.

Must be a citizen of the UNITED STATES

Candidates must be based in the United States and possess a valid passport.

A defined sales territory will be assigned.

The primary focus of the role will be driving growth and developing new business opportunities within the material handling and systems integration market.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Material Handling Equipment Sales Representative to join our Integration Solutions team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and building lasting customer relationships within your assigned territory. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and vendor partners to develop customized material handling and automation solutions, including conveyors, in-plant lifts, ergonomic lifting systems, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales Growth

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Prospect for new business and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and site visits to identify customer needs and propose solutions.

Develop Customer-Focused Solutions

  • Collaborate with customers, internal Engineering teams, and vendor partners to develop customized material handling and automation solutions.
  • Understand customer operations, challenges, and objectives to recommend the most effective equipment and system designs.
  • Support the sales process from initial opportunity through project completion and customer follow-up.

Build Strong Customer Relationships

  • Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations.
  • Foster long-term partnerships through exceptional service, communication, and project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

Strategic Business Development

  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and vendor meetings.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and automation innovations.
  • Build strong partnerships with equipment manufacturers and vendor representatives.

Own and Grow Your Territory

  • Consistently generate leads, conduct sales activities, and close new business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular customer engagement and account management activities.
  • Travel as required throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel.

Leverage Technology

  • Utilize CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare proposals, presentations, reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Apply basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks) to support customer discussions and solution development.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Handling Equipment, Conveyor Systems, or Industrial Equipment Sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Preferred

Experience with one or more of the following conveyor manufacturers:

  • Alba
  • Dorner
  • Hytrol
  • Roach
  • SpanTech

Additional experience or knowledge in:

  • Dock lifts and ergonomic lifting equipment
  • Material handling automation systems
  • Industrial controls and control device applications
  • PLC systems
  • Manufacturing, assembly, or automation environments
  • Reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, HyCAD, or RCAD
