
Basic Functions:
The X-Ray Department Material Handler/Scriber works closely with the supervisor to set and maintain schedule based on production needs. They will coordinate part flow by managing carts and baskets in the staging pen area, organizing jobs into Kanban cells, and supplying X-ray tubes based on schedule/production needs. This role performs and maintains precise scribing and serialization of castings, ensures strict log accuracy and documentation control using company systems and per customer Specs. They will sort and categorize X-ray records, assist with retention & storage, and track and disposition records as needed. Train and certify new employees in the scribing position & material handler position.
Responsibilities:
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, time management; ability to multitask; organizational skills; Microsoft Suite & computer skills; clear, legible printing skills. Physical ability to move and handle parts and equipment.
Education/Training: High school/GED
