Abacus is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and flexible Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will be integral to our daily operations, performing various warehouse duties such as sorting, loading, unloading, and receiving materials.
Process, pack, and ship orders accurately to ensure timely delivery.
Inspect items for defects and report any issues as required.
Restock and maintain inventory levels as needed.
Prepare items for shipping, ensuring all orders are ready for dispatch. Follow all warehouse procedures and safety measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Ability to adhere to employer and government safety regulations.
Excellent working knowledge of warehouse data systems.
Strong inventory management skills and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate
Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
Pick and fill orders from stock, adhering to customer specifications and company standards.
Pack and ship orders efficiently, maintaining product integrity and preparing goods for delivery.
Manage, organize, and retrieve stock within the warehouse, optimizing space and accessibility.
Inspect products for defects and damages, ensuring quality control before shipping.
Maintain accurate inventory records, regularly updating stock levels and conducting audits.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
? Follow safety procedures and guidelines to create a secure working environment for all staff.
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and enhance productivity.
Assist in training new warehouse staff, sharing knowledge of processes and safety protocols.
Organize the movement of items in and out of the warehouse, ensuring proper stocking and reordering as necessary.
Pack items according to customer preferences and company guidelines, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
Provide customer service by liaising between warehouse staff and customers, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Load goods efficiently and safely into vehicles or shipping containers, ensuring brand consistency and verifying loading patterns.
Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, processing, and shipping items while maintaining quality control.
Work with warehouse clerks to ensure successful shipment of goods, reviewing orders for accuracy and coordinating outbound shipments.
