TRC Fabrication is an AISC-certified structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication company based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. All fabrication work is performed at our Idaho Falls facility and then shipped to locations throughout the Mountain West, including Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and surrounding states. We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team, performing driving duties along with supporting shipping and yard responsibilities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that holding a CDL is an important part of the job, while also contributing to daily shipping operations, yard organization, and general labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Perform deliveries and pickups as required, based out of the Idaho Falls area
  • Transport fabricated steel to locations as required
  • Travel within Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and surrounding states as required
  • Load, unload, and properly secure materials and freight
  • Assist with shipping operations, staging materials, and yard organization
  • Perform general yard labor duties
  • Conduct daily equipment and vehicle maintenance checks and report issues as needed
  • Operate forklifts or other yard equipment
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record
  • Must meet all DOT requirements, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Willing and able to perform physical labor when not driving
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Environment:

This position includes a combination of driving, outdoor yard labor, and shipping-related tasks. Candidates should expect to transition between driving, physical work, and equipment operation throughout the day. Travel within the Mountain West region will be required as project needs dictate.

Requirements:
CDL Class A
Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
