Material Handling Team Lead

The Material Handling Team Lead responsibilities include receiving and recording all incoming product, organizing and managing all physical inventories and locations, stocking shelves and racks and moving of materials to support manufacturing and shipping. Other responsibilities include aiding with inventory questions, warehouse labeling and participating in inventory counts (cycle and year end). Team members will work together with other teams to provide an excellent customer experience for all customers.

Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Position Type: Full-time Hours: 40-45 hrs Schedule: M-F

Reports to: Material Handling Supervisor

Key Competencies

• Detail oriented, with the ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Ability to recognize problems and suggest countermeasures.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a high traffic, fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable using saws and other power tools.
• Responsible self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• Experience with iPod scanner and computer would be a plus.
