Join our mission as our next Material Handler responsible various warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center such as receiving, sorting, stacking, picking, packing, and shipping of orders. This position is located in Memphis, TN
Work Schedules:
1st Shift (Monday–Friday): 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
2nd Shift (Monday–Friday): 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday): 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Flexibility: Schedule flexibility is required, as daily hours will be assigned based on business and operational needs.
Use an RF scanner and computer system to pick and audit orders.
Able to work in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
Rotate between departments based on business needs.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to unload, load, break down freight, receive, and stock materials.
Verify product codes, lot numbers, quantities, and identify damaged products.
Conduct daily inspections of warehouse equipment as required.
Follow all health, safety, OSHA, and company policies to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, including the proper use of PPE.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain regular attendance.
Willing to work overtime with little or same-day notice.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Basic computer and math skills
Forklift/PIT certification required.
Previous warehouse and distribution experience
Ability to work overtime with little to no notice
Preferred:
Previous experience working in a cold chain environment
Internal Customers: Customer Service, Planning, Leadership and North America Supply Chain
External Customers: Customers, Carrier, Freight Forwarders, Suppliers Engineering, Manufacturing and Facilities
Extreme cold: Temperature below: -24 Degrees
Biological Hazards (including blood or blood products)
Dry Ice products and handling
Working around moving machinery and conveyor belts
Protective equipment required: Gloves, safety shoes, cold weather gear, body harness and safety vest.
Work at heights: operating order picker
Confined Spaces
Shift Rotations may be required based on business needs.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
Strong visual acuity required for close-up tasks (such as inspecting small parts, data analysis, and extensive reading) as well as operating machinery and computer terminals within arm's reach.
Repetitive movement of hands, and power grasping.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and warehouse environments.
