This position’s responsibility is to issue, prep, and dry resins needed to facilitate injection molding production.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand for 10 to 12 hours; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include able to see with 20/20 vision to assess cosmetic requirements: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• The disassembly and cleaning of dehumidifying dryers.
• Operation and setup of additive feeders, barrel tumbler, and various dehumidifying dryers on the production floor.
• Properly stage/store resins and auxiliary equipment in a clean and organized fashion.
• Use a variety of hand tools in an appropriate and safe manner.
• Proficiency in the ERP system (IQMS) as it pertains to the position of Material Handler.
• Generate work orders (MRO’s) for equipment repair.
• Consistently clean presses, auxiliary equipment, and the production floor.
• Operation of injection molding machines in support of production needs.
• Assist the floor lead in the giving of operator breaks in the event of a staffing shortage.
• Assist the materials warehouse in the re-stocking and issuing of resins
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and reach truck
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Above all, perform the previously listed tasks in a Safe manner, including the use of PPE when necessary.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing organization, preferred
