Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Various outside weather conditions, Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

CDD-Fremont CA/SDG On-Site

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:45 pm with potential OT

How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Material Handler I, you will play an essential role in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately while maintaining inventory integrity and cold chain compliance. Your work directly supports manufacturing operations and helps deliver life-saving diagnostic products to customers around the world.

A Day in the Life:
Receive, inspect, store, pick, stage, and ship materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Perform material movements using ERP/Warehouse systems and handheld scanners.
Support cold chain operations by working in refrigerated (2–8°C) and freezer (-20°C) environments and handling temperature-sensitive products.
Safely handle diagnostic reagents, chemicals, dry ice, and other regulated materials in accordance with established procedures.
Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (training and certification provided where applicable).
Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, bin verification, and inventory reconciliation.
Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory procedures while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
0-1 Years of warehouse experience required; training will be provided.
Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
Preferred
Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain.
Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.
Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience.
Experience working in regulated environments (GMP, FDA, ISO, medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to accurately follow written procedures and work instructions.
Basic computer proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and warehouse systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments and safely handle regulated materials.
Flexibility to support multiple warehouse functions based on business needs.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
Ability to operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely.
Ability to work in refrigerated (2–8°C) and freezer (-20°C) environments while wearing required PPE.
Ability to safely handle dry ice, diagnostic reagents, chemicals, and other regulated materials following safety procedures.
Ability to work overtime or flexible schedules based on business requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.08–$22.62.
