Job

Summary
Moves, processes, ships, receives, and controls raw donations, salvage and/or recycling inventory and stored inventory.
Essential Job Duties
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of donated goods between the processing, storage, dock areas and salvage.
- Assist team in providing required materials for production.
- Process and control inventory following established procedures.
- Load and unload tractor trailers with donated goods.
- Operate a baler, and lift tables in accordance with OSHA and LLGI standards.
- Perform janitorial duties.
- Maintain clean and organized work area including assisting with trash and salvage removal.
- Participates in required training.
- Effectively manage time to ensure that work is completed.
- Contributes to team success by involving others in work processes, decisions and actions.
- Monitors and recognizes security risks and thefts and assists in their prevention.
- Ensure that the customers perspective is a driving force behind customer satisfaction
- Seek to understand the customers circumstances, problems, expectations and needs
- Identify customer service issues and create solutions

Physical Requirements
- Lifts or moves up to fifty (50) pounds of clothing and house wares safely on and off retail shelving fixtures up to ten (10) feet high, clothing racks four (4) feet high, and z-racks six (6) feet high.
- Requires ability to stand for extended periods.
- Requires ability to reach by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
- Pushes and pulls z-racks holding up to one-hundred (100) pieces of clothing and weighing a minimum of 150 pounds.
- Bends and reaches into gaylords five (5) feet high to remove clothing and house wares.
- Requires ability to use pallet jack with loads ranging from 100 to 700 pounds safely.
- Requires ability to perform a combination of tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching crawling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing or pulling objects.
- Requires visual and hearing ability sufficient to power equipment in a safe manner.
Environmental Conditions
- Works in a light industrial/warehouse environment with exposure to heat and cold
- Subject to exposure to allergens including dirt, dust, mold, metals, rubber, plastics, latex, and pet hair
- Requires visual acuity to work in an environment with changing and/or low light levels.

Trailers, baler, bale carts, lift table, pallet jack, stacker, scales, compactor, wheeled spring carts, wheeled deep carts, wheeled z-racks, 2 wheel dollies (hand truck), 4 wheel flat carts, material lifts, furniture dollies, trash bin/can, trash dumpster, personal protective equipment, basic tools of the assigned work area, phone / two way radio, computer, fax, photocopier, mops, mop buckets, brooms, dust pans, vacuums, cleaning solvents.
