Main Duties & Responsibilities
Move raw materials, supplies and
finished goods manually, by hand truck or forklift to designated areas in the
facility or onto trucks as necessary or defined by Materials Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for physically
receiving raw material, pulling wire samples, and providing documentation to
receiving clerk in order to create a purchase order receiver (POR) per QSI
10.01 section 5.0.
Delivers and retrieves wire and
equipment from the Heading floor and/or moves production parts to various
operations.
Performs weighing of wire coils at
headers, stocking and re-stocking of wire, ensuring that all materials have
accurate weight and/or piece count.
Verifies that all product and
materials have accurate and appropriate identification tags, documentation,
and/or paperwork.
Prepares pallets, loads and unloads
raw material wire onto and off delivery trucks.
Responsible for organizing and
maintaining all wire carriers, including palletizing to prepare for return to
Suppliers.
Performs record keeping, data
entry, and housekeeping and follows all safety regulations and policy.
Qualifications
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.86.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend

Basic computer skills required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift certification.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general
education degree (GED). One (1) year
experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand
and walk. The employee is occasionally
require to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
and stoop or bend. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.
