Job Description

Seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for a global climate control products manufacturer.

This position involves handling materials, operating forklifts, and supporting shipping and receiving functions to ensure efficient warehouse workflow and product distribution.

Job Details

• PAY RATE: 19.00 hour
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F)
• LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ 85027
• POSITION: Right to Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Operate sit down and/or stand up forklifts to move materials safely within the warehouse.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
• Drug test and background check required.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
