Job Description

Basic Purpose

To safely and efficiently move, store, track, stage, and inventory materials throughout warehouse and production operations while ensuring inventory accuracy, material traceability, and timely support of manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Operate forklifts, double jacks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport finished product pallet loads to designated storage locations.
  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Stage raw materials and packaging materials for production use.
  • Enter inventory and material data into warehouse computer systems.
  • Utilize PC, AS400, Panelmate, MATRICS, and PRISM systems to maintain inventory records.
  • Apply pallet identification labels and maintain product traceability.
  • Conduct cycle counts, bin counts, and physical inventories.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Coordinate material movement with warehouse and production personnel.
  • Train employees on warehouse procedures as required.
  • Participate in QRMP audits and corrective action activities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow all Kraft Heinz safety policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Complete required equipment inspections.
  • Wear and maintain required PPE.
  • Report unsafe conditions, behaviors, or equipment immediately.
  • Follow all warehouse traffic and material handling requirements.
  • Support Kraft Heinz's safety-first culture.

Sanitation Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and organized warehouse work areas.
  • Clean, lubricate, and inspect applicable warehouse equipment.
  • Support GMP and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure storage areas remain organized and sanitary.
  • Maintain compliance with warehouse sanitation requirements.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inventory control and traceability of materials.
  • Verify materials meet quality and operational requirements before staging or use.
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation and records.
  • Support QRMP, GMP, and food safety initiatives.
  • Communicate quality concerns and inventory discrepancies promptly.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing up to 12 hours a day
  • Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. including overhead work
  • Repetitive motion with hands

  • Working in hot and cold environments (Lunchables 40°F, Cool Whip 90°F/-35°F, Cold Storage 0°F)

  • Must operate a computer and other standard office equipment

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial equipment license.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and any shift as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems.

This position works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:

Additional Information

  • Applicants must be willing to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Compensation Overview

  • Starting Pay: $26.14
  • Second Shift Differential: $1.25/hour
  • Third Shift Differential: $2.50/hour
