Work Environment: State-of-the-art, Climate-Controlled Facility

Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for moving product safely inside the site, loading trailers for shipment, completing shipment paperwork, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

  • Safe Equipment Operation: Safely and accurately operate a forklift to load outbound trailers and move materials throughout our climate-controlled facility.
  • Inventory Control: Scan and move products accurately using warehouse data systems to ensure perfect inventory accountability and precision.
  • Outbound Quality Audits: Conduct quality checks on outbound shipments and verify all shipping labels, product counts, and packaging integrity.
  • Shipping Documentation: Create, review, and complete accurate shipping paperwork and log shipment records into the computer database.
  • Physical Execution: Safely lift up to 40 pounds and move materials manually when needed to maintain logistics flow.
  • Precise Inventories: Participate with high precision in monthly and physical warehouse inventories.
  • Safety & Quality Standards: Adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes (QMPs), and site safety programs, championing a safety-first culture.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education.
  • Forklift Experience: Demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift in an industrial or warehouse environment.
  • Teamwork & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performing team environment with a willingness to learn and be coached.
  • Disciplined Initiative: Ability to act with disciplined initiative to solve problems and optimize workflow.
  • Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of basic computer programs for data entry, recording, and maintaining logistics data.
  • Core Competencies: Basic math skills, a keen eye for detail, and good verbal/written communication skills.

Military & Veteran Technical Equivalency Guide

  • U.S. Army: Automated Logistical Specialist (92A), Unit Supply Specialist (92Y), Cargo Specialist (88H), Motor Transport Operator (88M), Ammunition Specialist (89B). Your experience with warehouse databases (GCSS-Army), material handling equipment (MHE), and precise property book audits is a perfect match.
  • U.S. Navy: Logistics Specialist (LS), Storekeeper, Aviation Storekeeper (AK). Your experience managing inventory, shipboard supply warehouses, and processing shipping manifests maps directly to our material tracking systems.
  • U.S. Air Force: Materiel Management (2S0X1), Traffic Management (2T0X1), Ground Transportation (2T1X1). Your training in cargo loading, strict compliance with warehouse safety procedures, and inventory precision is an exact fit.
  • U.S. Marine Corps: Warehouse Clerk (3051), Supply Administration & Operations (3043), Logistics/Embarkation Specialist (0431), Motor Vehicle Operator (3531). Your focus on cargo staging, load planning, and material handling equipment (MHE) matches our shipping operations.
  • U.S. Coast Guard: Storekeeper (SK), Marine Science Technician.
