Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review shop drawings and other pertinent project information to identify and understand the scope of work for each project.
  • Interpret job schedule and track all parts from material receipt, to completion.
  • Coordinate workflow to meet the established schedule milestones.
  • Responsible for moving completed parts from designated department complete areas to the next location based on what step is next for the part.
  • Mark in job scheduling software when subcontractor parts are received.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Plant Manager when parts are in danger of being late.
  • Generate and attach BOLs in job scheduling software, for parts moving to subcontractor network.
  • Organize all local trucking.
  • Communicate progress of workflow toward achievement of project milestones to the Plant Manager.
  • Work in other departments as needed when not actively performing duties above, delegated by Utility Supervisor.
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2-4 years of material handling experience

· 2 years’ experience in fabrication shop environment

· 2 years’ Experience with reading blueprints

· Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities

· Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.

Compensation:

The approximate pay range for this position is $22-24/hour. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
