As a Material Handler, you will perform key physical and administrative activities within our logistics operations. You will contribute to the accurate, safe, and timely flow of materials across receiving, storage, internal distribution, inventory control, picking, packing, and outbound shipment processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent procedures, quality standards, and customer-shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate inventory records, system transactions, and logistics documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Enter, retrieve, and validate inventory and material movement data in the company’s ERP system, with a focus on accuracy and traceability.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, follow applicable safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Support regular physical inventory activities, including cycle counts and stock checks, to help maintain inventory accuracy and promptly identify discrepancies.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for visible damage, quantity discrepancies, labeling issues, or quality concerns before acceptance and escalation.
  • Deliver required parts, raw materials, and components to production lines or internal teams in a timely and accurate manner, supporting operational continuity.
  • Perform outbound shipment activities, including picking, packing, shipment preparation, documentation checks, and final shipping controls, ensuring orders are complete, accurate, properly packed, and compliant with customer and carrier requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, or a similar operational environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional logistics training or forklift certification is considered a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, and experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent Italian and basic written English to understand operational instructions, system information, and logistics documentation.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, reliability, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to manage the physical demands of a warehouse environment while following safety and quality standards.

Pay Range

Italy: 27,424 - 42,850 EUR per annum.
The position is classified at Levels C2 or C3 under the CCNL Industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti – Cod. C011, which defines minimum salary levels, pay progression, and working conditions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
