We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $19/hour

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks, to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate loading and unloading of goods.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Participate in materials handling tasks, including sorting, stacking, and storing products as needed.
Skills
  • Proficient in operating various forklifts.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
