Our team is the backbone of our success, and we are now looking for a Material Handler to join us!

We are seeking a dependable and organized Material Handler to play a vital role in our daily operations. This role involves the efficient handling of materials within our facility and assistance with ensuring timely deliveries to our valued clients. Responsibilities

• Pull, stage and load building material products, may include but not limited to (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
• Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck typed including semi, box trucks and flat beds
• Assist customers with loading materials
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared
• Assist, when necessary, with hot shot deliveries using 1-Ton, 2-Ton, and Box Trucks

Requirements

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs in a team lift
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Familiarity with local area
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States
• 18 Years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain a DOT Med Card

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials
• Forklift operation experience
• Familiarity with (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems
