Material Handler

About the role:
We are currently looking for a Material Handler to Assist the distribution team with distribution of material, equipment and supplies during Outages and On-Line operations. Located in York, South Carolina .
Qualifications:
o Must meet minimum education requirements, High School Diploma or equivalent... Significant material handling experience
Must have the ability to be forklift qualified and maintain qualifications. (Various Forklifts, Stand and Reach, Motorize Pallet Jack, Ottawa operation and other moving equipment.)
o Must have the ability to operate the more complex and critical equipment associated with Material Handler Duties
o Complete Basic Rigging as required, (as applicable)
o Must Maintain RWT Qualifications and all required training.
o Be able to lift 50 lbs. (heavy lifting required from time to time.) Must have a valid State issued Driver's License.
Preferred to hold a valid Commercial Driver's License
Basic Computer Skills
o Proactively support Westinghouse and Duke Energy programs, policies, procedures, strategic plans and specific goals.
Possess good oral and written communication.
o Ability to understand and follow oral and communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear power plant.
o Commitment to personal safety and industrial safety.
o Be assertive and self-motivated, with ability to work independently or with minimum over site.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $17-29 per hour.
