We're seeking a skilled Material Handler to operate specialized lifting equipment including overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts. This hands-on role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of equipment and materials across our facility. Working under supervision, you'll maintain the highest safety standards while supporting our warehouse and workshop operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Equipment Operations: Perform daily inspections and operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment; load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently
Material Handling: Move, fold, and organize equipment throughout storage areas and workshops; perform manual handling when necessary
Equipment Maintenance: Install and replace load grip devices and mechanisms; pre-order fuel, lubricants, and spare parts to ensure equipment readiness
Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to HSE policies, quality standards, and all company safety rules; prioritize health, safety, security, and environmental protection in all activities
Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Skills / Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2-4 years of related material handling experience
Valid forklift operator certification and state motor vehicle operator license
Specialized trade certification for lifting equipment operation
Proven ability to operate hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and other lifting/securing devices
Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance standards
Basic mathematical and measurement computation skills
Customer-focused mindset with general understanding of products and applications
Adaptability to change with excellent multi-tasking abilities
Team player who works effectively with all levels of personnel and external contractors
Less than 10% domestic and potentially international travel
