Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials within or near the worksite. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are properly identified, inspected, recorded, and moved safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials to designated areas
• Inspect materials for quality issues or defects
• Identify materials by part number or written description
• Manually move materials onto or from pallets, shelves, and work areas
• Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled on daily production sheets
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment
• Assemble crates or containers for products as needed
• Attach tags, labels, or markings to materials and containers
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting and identifying materials
• Ability to follow written instructions, part numbers, and descriptions
• Basic counting, weighing, and recording skills
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
