Responsible for handling, moving, and storage of materials and product.

Essential Functions

  • Provide assistance to the department in the day-today operation of moving materials
  • Ensure all safety features on the equipment are working properly
  • Stage and segregate product in designated areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements
  • Timely notification and delivery of receipts to designated personnel
  • Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficient move inventory around the warehouse.
  • Document movement of materials through a transfer system
  • Complete daily preventive maintenance checklist on assigned lifts
  • Monitor inventory by completing counts as required
  • Package inventory for safe shipping
  • Assemble containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions
  • Take inventory, maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times.
  • Share ideas, improvements and recommendations for continuous improvement to help optimize results to improve safety and quality.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift.
  • Willingness to work overtime to complete any duties as assigned.
  • This is manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.

Shift Details

3rd Shift is Sun - Wed, 4X10hr shifts, 8:15 pm – 6:45 am.


All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
