Job Description

At Delta Faucet, the material handlers keep things moving forward! We have an opening on our first shift team for a person who cananticipatethe needs of production and deliver the goods just in timeMaterial Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and tracking raw materials and finished products within a production facility. They operate equipment to load/unload shipments, transport materials to production lines, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, lifeinsuranceand paid time off.

Job Tasks

  • Bring materials to the production floor as needed.

  • Stock components and point-of-use racks.

  • Clear work area and restock to supportchange-overs

  • Remove finished goods from the production floor to the shipping area

  • Apply stretch wrap, labels andLPN'sto pallets of finished goods

  • Use scanner to transfer materials in inventory tracking software

  • Stage finished goods for shipment

  • Other duties asrequired

Must be able to: 

  • Operate power driven equipment (forklift, tugger, floor sweeper, scissors lift).  

  • Frequently climb on andoff fromthe equipment.

  • Operate a handheld scanner and use an electronic scaleand stretch wrapper.

  • Work independently, make decisions, communicate with others

  • Work with a high degree of accuracy and with attention to detail

  • Lift, push,carryand place parts with arms extended

  • Lift,bendand reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level

  • Lift, push and pull weights of up to 35lbsfrequentlyand up to 60lbs. occasionally (propane tanks weigh 57lbs at full capacity)

  • Use hands to manipulate parts, move boxes, carry tools

  • Use vision to inspect parts, readlabelsand inventorysheets
