Material Handler-18348
The material handler is responsible for the picking, delivery and inventory management of parts and materials within an aircraft hangar environment.
What you will be responsible for:
• Pick materials per picking assignments generated by customer orders.
• Deliver materials to assigned customers via forklift and or motorized cart.
• Assign materials to locations in hangars and associated aircraft.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Un-load trucks and count receipts for accuracy Inventory materials.
• Report damage upon receipts.
• Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful in this role:
• This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
• High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
• Two years warehouse shipping, receiving or inventory picking experience preferred.
• Must possess computer skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with warehousing and supply chain management programs preferred
• Able to communicate effectively verbally in writing in standard English.
