  • Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing…..)
  • Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
  • Use adequate equipment (forklift, tow train….) to move material
  • Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking….)
  • Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency…

This role may require specific accreditation to use specific handling equipments. The local job description must mentioned all necessary accreditation to use on site handling equipment.

  • 4.5.3.4 Pick, pack, and ship product for delivery (10356)
  • 4.5.4.5 Prepare package and shipment (12137)
  • 4.5.4.6 Manage shipping, carriers, and fleets (12145)
  • 4.5.5.1 Authorize and process returns (10364)
  • 4.5.5.2 Perform reverse logistics (10365)
  • 4.5.5.3 Perform salvage activities (10366)
  • 4.5.5.4 Manage and process warranty claims (10367)
  • 4.5.7.2 Locate stock (12171)
  • 4.5.7.3 Prepare stock for movement (12172)
  • 4.5.7.4 Physically move stock (12173)
  • 4.5.7.5 Maintain inventory status (12174)
  • 4.5.7.6 Perform physical inventory procedures (12175)

Job Qualifications

Qualifications – Materials Handler

  • High school diploma or technical degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, materials handling, or inventory control.
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes (receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Familiarity with FIFO, Kanban, or other inventory control methods.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills for tracking and reporting.
  • Experience handling materials in manufacturing or industrial environments (aerospace experience is a plus).
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) – certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic to intermediate English level (depending on company requirements).
