Position: Material Handler

GMP Group, a leading manufacturing company in Singapore, is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, store, and distribute materials according to company procedures

- Perform physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records

- Prepare materials for production by pulling and staging materials as needed

- Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles

- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse

- Communicate with production team to ensure timely delivery of materials

- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with materials

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment will be added advantage

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
