Material Handler
Coastal Steel Construction Limited is a leading manufacturer, distributor of custom structural steel fabrication. Coastal specializes in active and energetic workplace. We offer a wide range of services including steel fabrication, product sales and installation services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using manual labor or mechanical equipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move heavy materials.
Verify materials received.
Pack and prepare materials for shipment.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Experience with forklift operation is an asset.
Physically fit and able to frequently lift in excess of 50 pounds.
Salary: $23.00/hour
Bonus: Potential annual bonuses available up to 5% of equivalent salary.
Benefits: Extended health, life insurance, AD&D, dental, long term disability.
Job Type: Full-time permanent, 32 hours per week
Language: At least intermediate English is required.
Job Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario.
