Job Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Material Handler – Quality Receiving who will be general shipping, quality receiving, stocking, handling, and distribution of materials at SHINE Technologies. The Material Handler will help maintain an uninterrupted supply of materials by ensuring the warehouse and other storage locations are kept in an organized and accurate state of control.

The base salary range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Material Handler include, but are not limited to:

  • Facility shipping, receiving, stocking and associated administrative tasks
  • Completion of warehouse transactions using inventory control software application
  • Equipment and Material movement utilizing a Forklift, Pallet Jack, etc.
  • Periodic inventory of warehouse stock
  • Support manufacturing with kitting and distribution of materials
  • Perform Quality Receiving Inspections of incoming material in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements
  • Participate in facility safety programs
  • May be asked to perform various “housekeeping” activities such as keeping work areas and equipment clean, etc.
  • Is knowledgeable and complies with all SHINE safety policies, rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that all team members comply with safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintenance of quality systems and cGMP compliance for the business by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures, and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.
  • All personnel are responsible for notifying responsible management in a timely manner of regulatory inspections, serious GMP deficiencies, product defects and related actions (e.g. quality related complaints, recalls, regulatory actions, etc.).
  • Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies in selecting methods and techniques in obtaining solutions and in determining appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years warehousing or related supply chain experience
  • Experience in GMP environment a plus
  • Experience in utilizing warehouse equipment ie) forklifts
  • Working knowledge of basic inventory control methods
  • ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.) a plus
  • Good basic computer skills
  • Interact effectively with staff members from multiple levels and departments
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to take directions as well as think independently
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
