Job Location Sheboygan SP - Sheboygan, WI 53081 Salary Range $24.56 - $27.59 Hourly
As a Material Handler you are responsible for assisting the extruder operator, maintaining the flow of material used in the bulk handling system and completing the procedure for the finished product. The hours for this position are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Responsible for needed raw materials for the extruder.
• Assist the operator where and when needed.
• Responsible for full and empty containers on the line.
• Weigh scrap when necessary
• Keep work area clean
• Report the condition of the line to the material handler of the oncoming shift
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this person must have the ability to be cross trained to operate the extruder.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Experience: Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Extrusion experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Skills:
o Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
o Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
o Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
o Forklift driving experience is essential.
o Ability to lift up to 55 pounds occasionally.
