Job Description

The Material Handler will be working an 8-hour shift on our client's side in Vaughan, ON.

Essential Functions

1. Use the scanning system to locate products in the warehouse

2. Pick the right products as requested by the worksheet

4. Put up the correct bulk up on the mezzanine as indicated on the daily production schedule

5. Shrink wrap all finished products and scan them into a location in the warehouse

6. Properly operate a counterbalance forklift

7. Comply with all safety requirements and company policies

8. All products moved from the warehouse must be well identified

9. Report damaged material when moving out finished products

10. Report any wrongly labeled parts or bulk found on the production floor

Non-Essential Functions

1. Wash drums and skids

2. Clean and sanitize the blending room

3. Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

1. High school, or equivalent education

2. Knowledge of working with Steel, aluminum, and bronze is an asset.

3. Able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, also with good mathematical skills

4. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously
