Job Description
Experienced Specialist within the Material Handling job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Collaboration & Interaction: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders.
- Good written and verbal communication, and basic math skills.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical equations, using a basic calculator and scales.
- Basic PC skills and ability to utilize a warehouse management system preferred.
- Forklift certified and experience operating a fork truck safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to contribute as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in high-noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
- Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot).
- Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
- The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50
