Job Description

A WAREHOUSE WORKER will gather specific material requested through a PO or work package and package it in a specific location ready to be delivered to jobsite location.

Position Responsibilities

  • Be able to read piping isometrics and bill of materials.

  • Holds Technical knowledge to identify and gather specific materials requested in BOM or work package.

  • Palletize or securely package material together for distribution to specific jobsite location

  • Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.

  • Examines materials received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.

  • Familiarity with MMS systems: Oracle, SAP, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel)

Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical Requirements

  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting. 

  • Will talk and hear to communicate. 

  • Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: OBJECTS, materials, controls and tools. 

  • May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. 

  • Will work at slight heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms using the appropriate fall protection requirements.

  • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, FRC, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots

  • Preferred Additional Qualification

  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.

  • Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

  • Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience

  • Expected to have industrial experience in a maintenance environment

  • Good reading comprehension

  • Ability to work with others – team player

  • Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors

  • Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations

  • Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools but not required

  • Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience required  

  • Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work as needed

Valued but not required skills, knowledge, and abilities:

  • CURRENT OR Former Zachry Group employee

  • Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school

  • Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

  • Inventory Control

  • Kitting Material by Job

  • Material expediting/field delivery

  • Forklift Trained
