Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Picking and receiving: In-process materials/completed parts.
  • Replacement parts packing and processes and procedures.
  • Operates all vehicles to schedule.
  • Use of non-precision tools; cutting, sawing, and hammering.
  • Routine maintenance for handling equipment.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Receiving vendor material activities.
  • Call for trucks.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.
  • Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed.
  • Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.
  • Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.
  • Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.

Job Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years Material Handling experience.
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Certification Test.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes.
  • Must be able to work individually and with others.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 100 feet.
  • Normal shop working environment.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift and overtime.
