1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm

The Warehouse Material Handler supports the safe, accurate, and timely movement, storage, receipt, and shipment of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role supports production, inventory accuracy, quality requirements, customer shipments, ISO/AS work instructions, continuous improvement, and applicable safety and regulatory standards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, stage, label, load, unload, and deliver materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and finished goods using forklifts, hoists, and other assigned material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Pick, issue, transfer, put away, and supply inventory to production accurately while maintaining organized stockroom, hold, shipping, receiving, and production areas.
• Prepare, package, verify, and process domestic and international shipments; document shortages, damage, discrepancies, or nonconforming material.
• Complete required paper and electronic records accurately and on time, including work orders, purchase orders, pick lists, shipping documents, logs, PM records, tags, and inventory transactions.
• Create, update, remove, and apply required inventory and quality identification, including barcodes, hold tags, RMA tags, and related labels.
• Identify, inspect, and respond to nonconforming material or product in accordance with applicable acceptance, rejection, hold, scrap, RMA, NMR, First Article Inspection, ISO/AS, and quality requirements.
• Inspect parts, pallets, products, packaging, and equipment for quantity, condition, appearance, dimensions, surface quality, and specification or work-order requirements.
• Follow OSHA, company, PPE, equipment-use, housekeeping, FOD, security, quality, and safety requirements; promptly report hazards, incidents, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, and quality issues.
• Use applicable tools, equipment, computer systems, inventory processes, shipping/receiving systems, work instructions, blueprints, specifications, and department procedures effectively.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, technicians, co-workers, vendors, customers, purchasing, production, shipping, receiving, and other departments regarding material needs, priorities, quality concerns, discrepancies, shipment status, and schedule issues.
• Troubleshoot material, equipment, shipment, inventory, and production-support issues; support corrective action, continuous improvement, training, cross-training, team activities, scrap reduction, and process improvements as assigned.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, basic math, reasoning/problem-solving, English reading and communication skills, customer service, data entry, sound judgment, dependability, and adaptability to changing operational priorities.
• Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance for the full assigned shift and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Valid and maintained driver’s license; previous forklift experience helpful.

Must have or acquire data-entry skills for applicable company, SPC, FedEx/UPS, inventory, and shipping systems.

Must be at least 18 years old and comply with the company’s Drug, Alcohol Abuse, and Firearms Policy.

Must meet applicable U.S. government status requirements for the position, including U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual status as defined by applicable law.

Physical Demands

The physical demands below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role requires sustained attention, alertness, and safe use of proper body mechanics and mechanical aids.

Stand or sit for approximately 75% to 95% of the workday and perform repetitive movement, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, lifting, carrying, packaging, and material handling.

Lift or move materials ranging from approximately 5 pounds to 1,000 pounds using proper body mechanics, forklifts, hoists, or other mechanical aids as required.

Use close vision, focus adjustment, eye-hand-foot coordination, and fine hand/finger dexterity for inspection, equipment operation, packaging, documentation, and computer work.

Cut open product packaging using approximately 20 pounds of downward pressure with momentum and package materials, finished goods, samples, or fragile items approximately 50 or more times per day.

Communicate effectively with vendors, employees, peers, managers, supervisors, office personnel, and external customers.

Work Environment

Works in a manufacturing plant/office environment where cleanliness, safety, OSHA requirements, company policies, and federal/state regulations must be followed.

May work in areas with varying temperatures, manufacturing chemicals, outside work, scratches, bruises, punctures, burns, and required PPE.

May be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays, other shifts, or short-term transfers to other positions based on business needs.
