GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Coordinate and expedite the flow of supplies within or between departments to meet business requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Level 1
• • Process and deliver all incoming shipments for the laboratories and administration departments.
• Deliver and maintain rotation of laboratory inventory while supporting lot control. Communicate to Supply Planning any shortages due to end of life or potential stockouts due to increase in volume.
• Deliver and stock all backup facilities as necessary.
• Conduct off campus pickups and deliveries based on schedule.
• Maintain shipment delivery logs.
• Participate in the morning sample sort.
• Monitor replenishment requirements of inventory and non-inventory stored in all stock locations.
• Serve as a back-up to the Logistics team when it comes to sample management.
• Assist with Material Handler duties as needed.
• Interact with all operating departments to expedite supply flow.
• Pick-up and distribute interoffice mail.
• Assist other departments and campuses with movement of heavy/bulky stock items and equipment, including biohazards material.
• Must maintain 49 CFR Certification and DOT medical certificate.
• Oversee emails and ServiceNow requests for internal replenishments and material movements.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness in all stock locations including the lab areas.
• Maintain maintenance log to ensure the company vehicles are in good running condition.
• Assist in keeping all areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
Level 2
• • Perform duties of Level 1.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts set for each sub inventory.
• Support the Materials Planner in researching any inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain rotation of stock in all stock locations while supporting lot control. Communicate to Material Planner any potential shortages due to end of life.
• Set up deliveries for external processing facilities.
• Ensure customer returns and RMA’s are processed in a timely manner.
• Quality check of returns before restocking for reuse or resell.
• Execute final disposition for all quarantined items.
• Requisition non-kit supplies for office and laboratory departments as needed.
• Minimal to no guidance in assisting in all areas of the Distribution Center to back up as necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of material handling or order filling position. DOT experience a plus.

EQUIPMENT: Computer terminal, Communication equipment, printers, 10 key calculator, shipping terminals, box knife, material handling equipment, storage racks, dock doors, dumpsters, ladder, dolly, pallet jack, trash compactor, forklift, delivery trucks 24’ or larger.
OTHER: This position requires an acceptable driving record; high energy and constant movement; overtime necessary according to workload; weekend work required based on work schedule; work outside standard shift as required; exposure to heat, dust and noise. Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment. Forklift operator requires minimum age of 18 years. Trash compactor requires minimum age of 18 years.49 CFR certification training must be completed within the first 90 days of employment. DOT physical required within 45 days of employment.
