We are looking for a Material Developer Assistant to join our R&D and Materials team at Peak Performance.

In this role, you will support the development and execution of materials across our product categories, playing a key part in ensuring that our material data, reporting, and development processes run smoothly. You will work closely with Material Developers, Design, Product Development, and suppliers, contributing to both daily execution and continuous improvements in how we manage materials and sustainability data.

This role is based at our HQ in Stockholm and you will report directly to the Head of R&D and Material.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about materials, product development, and sustainability, and who enjoys working in a structured and collaborative way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, maintain, and ensure accuracy of material data and reporting, including sustainability tracking

  • Maintain and update material libraries and PLM systems, ensuring consistency and quality of data

  • Contribute to supplier communication, sourcing activities, and in‑season material research

  • Coordinate sample planning (proto and pre‑proto) together with the Materials team and external partners

  • Coordinate lab dip (LD) handovers and communication with Design

  • Contribute to smooth daily workflows across Materials, Product Development, and cross‑functional teams

  • Support and further develop material sustainability reporting, improving structure, clarity, and consistency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent

  • Internship or initial experience within material development, sourcing, or product development

  • Basic understanding of materials and their role in product creation

  • Experience working with PLM systems and Microsoft Office

  • Interest in or familiarity with sustainability and material reporting is a strong plus

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
