This is your new job:
As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow of high-value, process-critical materials within the Nexperia Hamburg - Materials Management organization. The role ensures compliant handling, accurate tracking, and secure availability of these materials, which are essential for wafer manufacturing operations.

Daily Operations:

  • Execute and reconcile material movements in SAP

  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure high data accuracy

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Improve material tracking, transparency, and reporting

  • Enhance forecasting accuracy and collaboration with external partners

  • Support audit readiness and drive process standardization

Key Challenges:

  • Managing high-value inventory with minimal variance tolerance

  • Ensuring strict compliance in a regulated environment

  • Balancing operational efficiency with governance requirements

Stakeholder Environment:

  • Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams

  • Regular interaction with external partners and service providers

This is you:
A structured and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a high sense of accountability. The ideal candidate thrives in environments that require precision, compliance awareness, and cross-functional coordination.

Education and Experience:

  • Apprenticeship in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or Material Management.

  • 2-5 years in Logistics, Materials Management, Supply-Chain or Manufacturing.

  • Preferably experience in the handling/transport of regulated goods.

Hard Skills

MUST have:

  • SAP (or comparable ERP) experience in inventory/material management

  • Strong data analysis and forecasting skills (Excel or similar tools)

  • Fluency in German, both written and spoken

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

NICE to have:

  • Experience with inventory/material management processes

  • Understanding of audit and compliance requirements.

Soft Skills

MUST have:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability

  • Effective stakeholder communication skills

NICE to have:

  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

You will be part of the Materials Management team at the Hamburg site, responsible for ensuring the reliable supply, tracking, and compliance of materials supporting semiconductor manufacturing. The team works in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, closely interfacing with operations, engineering, and external partners. With a strong focus on precision, accountability, and continuous improvement, the team plays a critical role in maintaining production stability and operational excellence.



Good to know:
